Various places within the R.M. of Canwood are within 4.5 kilometers of a provincial forest. Burning Permits are required from the Ministry of Environment from April 1 to October 31. To obtain your free burning permit from the Ministry of Environment, contact your local forest protection office at 306-953-3422.
